Kid-Friendly Champagne Parties

During the pandemic, we didn’t really have anywhere to go, so we started pretending we did. We’d have dinners at different “restaurants” in our own kitchen, and picnics on our basement floor. The kids favourite place to “go out” was to a fancy bar for some champagne.

Instructions:

• Get into your fancy clothes

• Put on a strobe light. The Christmas light-projectors work well.
• Put on some bar music. Our favourite one was “Champagne Showers” by LMFAO. Watch out if you play the video version. It has vampires in it. The kids didn’t really seem to notice, though.

• Pour the Champagne! We used non-alcoholic PC Champagne. I used shot glasses for the toddlers because that would be more difficult to break and less tragic if it did.

• Dance and Party! Usually we cheer, “Champagne! Champagne! Champagne!”
