Flower Petal Bath

The Thing I Wish I Had the Leisure to Do for Myself!

For one week a year, our front tree makes the most beautiful pink flowers.

It’s so magical to shake the branches and rain down petals on the kids. We also collect them for a bath.

They get the fun of collecting the petals, throwing them in the tub, and playing around with them. When that gets boring, I give them each a sieve.

This keeps them occupied for the rest of bath time, and is handy for cleaning out the petals again before draining the tub.

Then I just throw them back on my front lawn from whence they came!
