Farter’s Day

Happy Father’s Farter’s Day

Father’s Day is probably the silliest day of the year, for our family. It can also be the saddest. Just like Valentine’s Day can be pretty depressing for singles, a day that acknowledges the parent-child relationship can be quite a downer for people who have lost a parent or child. That’s why I decided to scrap Father’s Day, and celebrate Farter’s Day instead. You can do it too!

Here’s How to Have a Great Farter’s Day:

First, you need a great card…

With a great twist on the inside…

Then you need a poster showing just how much the kids appreciate Dad.

Each child takes turns putting up their fart bubble of love.

Don’t forget the gifts

Then he’s gonna need to eat.

Bangers and mash go very well with the main feature: BEANS!

Maybe tell a few jokes during mealtime

Dessert Anyone?

Make sure to have appropriate decorations on your front lawn, for all the neighbours to see.

Family games can make the day feel like a real celebration

And, of course, a heart-felt poem to end the day right.

To put this in context, the kids were somewhat gluten-intolerant at the time, so any gluten gave them gas.
