Better Than Repainting Your Own Car
“That’s funny.” My dad said during our daily video chat. “Zach isn’t holding a toy car today.” He nearly always has one in hand. So I decided to let the kids paint with cars. They just roll the car in paint, and then roll the car on some paper. It created some novelty with the things we already had. The extra boy in the picture is our good friend Kieran.

Paint-covered cars transitioned nicely into a “car wash” activity. It just takes a towel, a bowl of soapy water, and a rinse bowl of non-soapy water. Wash cloths can be used to dry the cars afterwards.

Note: Make sure to break up the skewers before throwing them out, or you will end up with a hole in the bag and garbage water all over the bottom of your garbage bin.
